They're all jealous that Fox is still number one!

When was the last time you shopped around for credible news? CBS, NBC and that whole bunch are just as deceitful as FOX. They simply don't broadcast real news. Anyone who reads a newspaper every once in a while, checks out some foreign source of news or even speaks to people from other countries would not be misguided into believing FOX says anything remotely close to reality.
Truth is, you are probably not very good at geography or history or even remember much of the politics that has gone on in your own life span if you believe any of the obvious lies that are sold by the corporate media.
Then again, you could just be a paid ghost writer, your self an agent of the misinformation campaign waged by Repos and Demos to shock and awe the US population.

Truly, its no worse than the others, just targeted to the other side of the fence. The objectivity of Television based journalism went out the door the moment analysts had their first revenue focused
Neilsen review. You gotta give it to Rupert Murdoch, he knew what he was doing. If Fox was to be democrat based it would have to compete with all the other networks for market share. By targeting the conservative sector and hiring the properly biased individuals to exploit that market (Rush, Hannity, Savage), Fox is assured of an exclusive advertising market, who coincidentally, tend to be more affluent, spend money more regularly and are a prime retail demographic. Just bias for the sake of business.

I might dislike Fox but I HATE MSNBC and Keith Olbermans smug crap very night, and the idiotic dunces at CNN aka "Conspirators News Network" cannot be trusted. ABC, CBS and NBC stopped telling us the whole truth many many years ago and so I tuned them out. CNN is the worst most anti american outfit to every be ghranted a broadcast license. They got caught lying to have access to iraq in saddams era-covered up anything that might reflect badly on Iraq...and had to have the CEO Eason Ramson step down as a result. Reuters has been caught red handed embellishing images to make attacks against Americans and their interests more severe than they are. I could go on and on. Let's not even talk about al jazeera and why they still exist eh? I am pretty sure that hasnt happened yet at Fox. Can you imagine the scandal if a conservative news network did get caught doing what CNN ADMITTED to? Having said that, Hannity could take a dose of reality and step away from the kool aid. Bush has betrayed us all, and he needs to ell the truth straight up. He claims to support conservative values but he is in lock step with bush on everything the man does. i am surprised they havent anounced their civil union while both holding Laura's hand. I agree with Tammy Bruce. Bush is a TOOL. As bad as Fox might be in some of their titlation based coverage-O Reilly used have gravitas, now he just has a relentless hard on for young democratic strategists like Kirsten Powers and Lis Weihl who put up with his relentless panting, and who do nothing but grin at him and spout rhetoric with no meaning. I cant recall the last time Kirsten Powers said anything worth hearing. Bob Beckel is the most annoying man on TV outside of Olbermann. What a punk he is. Could he be more condescending? What exactly has he EVER done to put him in a position to judge ANYONE outside of sports broadcasting. Intelligent? No. Vapid and pandering, spouting token slogans that require no depth of anaysis of thought, much less leaps of logic-YES. O Reilly could earn back some of that Gravitas if he could pick a fight with someone a little more heavy than Geraldo Rivera, or Dennis Miller who seems to be laughing at the delivery of each and every line like he is talking about something funny. This is dead serious stuff and we need to take it so. Our country has gone to hell, and Fox news has nothing to do with it.

Because Fox news legitimizes the ignorance of the right. For instance, at one point early on when the civil war was starting in Iraq, Fox News had a segment, "Civil War? Would it be good for Iraq?" Then they went on to discuss how a civil war would be good for Iraq. Of course, this was after they gave up trying to deny that a civil war existed in Iraq.

I make it a point to watch all of the above news shows. I also watch PBS and BBC.
Fox has a reputation for being conservative but the reason people "hate" it has to do with the way the news is so slanted. Not only that, the hosts are rude, arrogant and intolerant of other opinions.
I know it's easy to just change the channel but I like to see all perspectives, even if I disagree with them.

It's not hatred. I'm just appalled by the fact that
a) this administration needs a propaganda arm (Tony Snow moved laterally from Faux News to the White House Press Corps, for god's sake)
b) so many willfully ignorant people lap up the pablum that it serves as "fact."

Fox really is quite slanted to the right, much more so than the other networks are slanted to the left. It wouldn't bother me except that Fox advertises itself as fair and balanced, which is laughable.

Liberals are jealous, because they can't win in arguments and reason. So they try to bring forth as much hatred as possible, they would rather believe the bullsh*t that CNN,CBS,NBC, and others put forth, they only want to here their liberal leftists socialist views.

Because despite their claims of being fair and balanced , they are not either nor are they really a news organization. They are a pr firm for the Bush administration and GOP. That's why most people dislike them, unless they are GOP and Bush fans.

Fox News gives legitimate news organizations a ' bad name'.

Personal opinion: watching Fox is not recommended for simpletons. The other networks are more neutral.
