Do I have a good chance in conceiving even though i did not have sex on the ovulation day but i did the day before and after. Me and husband did not want to do it 3 day straight since sperm since to decrease the more you have sex. Thanks

Yes, you had sex at the right time. Sperm can live for a few days so there were sperm waiting when you ovulated. I also ovulated on June 10th, so good luck to both of us :) There's about a 25% chance every month. My doctor told me that we could have sex everyday a few days before ovulation, because a male's sperm count is back up after 24 hours. It's really just for men who may have a low sperm count.

You are more likely to become pregnant by having sex the day before ovulation than the day of ovulation or the day after. The day before gives the sperm a head start on making it to the tube before the egg is released. The egg is only receptive for 12-24 hours, and sperm live 3-5 days.

yeah you do have a good chance to conceive. Because my spoke to my gyn doctor & she said you have a greater chance to become pregnant if you have sex a few days before you ovulate b/c the egg only lives for 2-5 days & sperm it take it 1-3 days to travel up the uterus.

Im sure the egg is still hanging out on the 11th from the 10th..
when you ovulate, its when the egg comes out to be fertilized, soooo.. it should be there waiting on the 11th.
