Hi, I've just gone 10 weeks pregnant, just got back from salou in spain for a week. I went to massive theme park there, port adventura, I had gone on alot of rides as my midwife said I should be ok as the baby doesn't move into my pelvis til fter 12weeks pregnant. I have had no bleeding, just mild pains occassionally. do you think i should worry. My tirdness is not as bad, and the nausea has calmed down.

Why did you do that if you knew you were pregnant?

I dont think people should be attacking you for this question.
Anyhoo... I was also told that early on into your pregnancy, rollercoasters shouldnt be an issue.... the parks just recommend you dont ride them AT ALL during pregnancy IN CASE something were to go wrong in your pregnancy and you may sue.
Obviously you dont want to do this later when baby and belly start to grow. Not really much room for pull down bars and lap bars! But at 10 weeks... baby is buried deep into your abdomen with much layering between the surface of your belly, fat, uterus, placenta, etc. You can find many illustrations showing you just where baby is in your body at different weeks.
I dont know about the whole moving down into your pelvis LATER bit. My first heartbeat reading, baby was at my pubic bone! Took the nurse 5 mins to find her! Now at 20 weeks, she relocated a lot.
So, no worries.. I'm sure you will still hear your little one's heartbeat at your next app... though... to avoid criticism and JUST in case, try to avoid rides from now on to be on the safe side (^ - ^)
Cheers,
Megz

The cramps are probably just the kid poking you to say "Again! Again!" Nausea is normal during a pregnancy. Try some papaya tablets when it gets bad. You can get them over the counter. My wife practically lived on them dring her last pregnancy.

No, I was still taking sleeping pills when I found out that I was 7 weeks. You can't worry, there is nothing you can do about it anyway. You will have plenty of other things to worry about. You and your baby will be fine.... BTW Congrats!!!

Most theme parks advise not to get on any rides if you are pregnant because it could cause health problems. I hope everything is ok though.

You should be fine as long as you follow the advice of your health care professional.
Mild to moderate cramping is associated with ligaments and uterine muscles stretching to accomodate your expanding uterus. It is completely normal unless accompanied by spotting or bleeding.
Relax ! :)

Should be fine!! your body will let you know when your doing something wrong! Babies are surrounded by a lot of water, so its very hard to do damage to them!!

I listened to everyone around me telling me i'd be okay instead of listening to what my body told me and i lost mine at 12 weeks. If you're worried go to your doctor and listen to your instincts. Please don't make the same mistake i did. Good Luck
