My second grade teacher. She took great delight in humiliating the shy and average-grade students. Many of my peers required counseling after taking her class. My first suicide attempt was during that year.
She wasn't even as bad as my fifth grade teacher, who told my best friend (in front of other students) that Jesus could never love a child like her.
Yup, I had some real winners in this category.

Well I've had two teachers that I would consider awful. The first was a math teacher who was, to put it simply, mean. He refused to get up and teach and when you asked him a question you would be ridiculed, made fun of and yelled at. I never liked math so there were many times I needed his help, which I never recieved. However worse than him was a Spanish teacher I had my last year of high school. Spanish was my absolute favorite subject and ever since I started it in elementary school I thought it was extremely easy. I always participated in class, enjoyed completing assignments and learning more grammer points and by high school I was inducted into the honor society (I had never gotten under an A in Spanish on my report card from elementary school-11th grade). Well somehow this teacher I had senior year made me absolutely DESPISE the subject. She was such a nice person but a terrible teacher. She never taught. She would just stand in front of the class and talk about the subject but she never actually taught it. Then she would give us tests and forget to tell us things that were on the test. I got Bs all year and that might not sound like a big deal but I never struggled with this subject before and it wasn't like she was the most demanding teacher--she wasn't. She just never prepared us. The class was a huge waste of time. It was spent listening to her saying things like "the pluperfect tense gets confusing sometimes. You can practice it to make sure you know it well." But she'd never actually go over the grammer rules or give us notes or anything. However, in my opinion, Spanish is easy to understand by just reading the book. However the problem with this was she'd tell us "study the imperfect subjunctive" and we would but she would forget to tell us to also study the present perfect subjunctive. It was very frustrating. By the end of the year I hated the subject that had once been my favorite. She was a sweet person but an awful teacher. In my opinion the worst thing a teacher can make you do is hate their subject.

My song instructor in grade nine, Mr. M_____r. He used to be balding at the most sensible of his head, however nonetheless had semi-lengthy hair at the aspects. He wore rounded glasses with shiny blue rims. He had an insane hungarian accessory and he hated all people who wasn't as well as him. He used to be particularly boastful and not ever close up approximately what number of CDs his trumpet gambling is on. He despatched humans to the workplace if their SOCKS are another colour both than black, despite the fact that that wasn't acknowledged within the get dressed code. He used to be impolite, egocentric and yelled at each and every possibility. Bloody hell that elegance used to be.

My 6th grade Reading teacher, we read books and she would always have some little "party" for that book, but we had to pay for everything, and the parties were always half-assed and boring. We took a test on the Secret Garden, and I knew that none of the "correct" answers were right, so I stood up and told her, she didn't say anything, and everyone in the class got an F on it because of the not-right answers. Then later, she thought I said the F word, but I told her I didn't since I really didn't, and I almost got put in detention. Then she made me stay for Lunch Detention, so I went to her class during lunch like she told me too, and she it was just a "joke".

My middle school drama teacher was both the worst and the best teacher i had. He introduced me to acting and he helped me become a good actor, but he was such a JERK and always thought he was the best actor, and would always talk down to us, then make us "feel better" by encouraging us and saying we were so good. he was a hypocrite, a liar, and the slowest at picking scripts EVER. the only good decision he ever made was to have us do a musical, which was one of the funnest experience i have ever had.

My worst teacher was my U.S. History teacher in high school (11th -- CP, and 12th -- A.P.) He only paid attention to the jocks and ignored the rest of us. He retired last school year and now works as the Social Studies remediation teacher at the high school I student taught. He thinks he inspired me to become a Social Studies teacher, but he only inspired me to things better than him. Although he was awful in high school, he was a good resource as a student teacher.

I had an Education professor in college who had only spent one year in the public schools. His advice was based only on books and philosophy, no practical information. I considered his class a major waste of time.
