(CBS 5) BERKELEY A Berkeley watchdog organization that tracks military spending said it uncovered a strange U.S. military proposal to create a hormone bomb that could purportedly turn enemy soldiers into homosexuals and make them more interested in sex than fighting.
Pentagon officials on Friday confirmed to CBS 5 that military leaders had considered, and then subsquently rejected, building the so-called "Gay Bomb."

I guess this is a *true* story. Wow. But seriously, I wonder if they're really building this weapon? They can deny it all they want, but who's going to believe them?

Well it worked in test conducted during the Regan administration. The first such practice was on Boy George, then it got out of hand, Doogie Howser, Richard Simmons, and Ru Paul and finally the straw that broke the camels back, Rock Hudson. After that, they were a little concern that it might "catch on" so they had to black bag it.

This was also the primis for the LSD bomb back in the 60's
The enemy would get loaded and become gay.
Weird gay obsession with bomb builders.

The Air Force confirmed that it thought about it, but abandoned the idea. No money was actually spent, and it happened over ten years ago.

Who in the hell thought that one up?
How was that proposed?
"Hey, I got an idea! What if we make a bomb with hormones in it to make the opposition gay?"
I can't wait to see what they come up with next.

Oh this is silly. No amount of hormones on an adult will alter the person's sexuality. (but could alter their libido.) Just think about it. "Make love, not war" as military policy! We could only hope.

Sounds odd to me. Kinda like when Gregory Hines lit the giant marijuana cigarette in front of the Roman soldiers in "History of the World Part I" and they got so buzzed they didn't care about chasing him.

Its funny and weird at the same time! Anyway, if it were feasible I would have no problem with it. As the Bard said, "all's fair in love and war".
