I was not aware of that. I'm not planning to see the movie in theatres, but I'll look for that when it comes out on DVD.

They filmed that scene at a real awards show (the MTV Movie Awards, I think).

No I missed him, the movie was great though, very funny. It was actually better than I thought it would be.
