ok to change your home page just go to tools, options.
on the main menu type your new hompage in the box near the top then click apply and the ok.
this will change it to whatever you typed in as for suggestions it's a personal preference ,but you could always use www.youtube.com a different video nearly every time you log in lol.
have fun
tool bar is on the web browser you are using like...
internet explorer, firefox etc
if you look up the very top you will see...
file edit view etc click on the one called tools along this line the go down to internet options click and follow above

Hello:
I use Google as my home page, mostly because a do a lot of google searches. Google has a simple link at the top of their page to set it as your home page. But another way to set a page to Home is to use the feature in IE for this:
First go to the page you want to use as Home. Now, from the menus in IE, Tools | Internet Options | General tab... click the Use Current button. Click OK.
You're done!
Cheers!

In Firefox: Tools------>Options----->Main tab----->and in the "Home Page" section, type in the address of the website. Then click apply. In IE: Tools---->Internet Options---->General Tab---->In the homepage section, type in the website you want. Then click apply. Make sure any security programs you have aren't monitoring home page changes, since that could prevent the change. Disable them before make the change. Also remember, unless you keep cookies saved you'll have to sign-in to Yahoo everytime.

Internet Explorer --> Click on Tools, then internet options. The general tab should come up, and you can enter a website there for your homepage. I use http://www.google.com

Listen to the guys who are calling it 'spyware', they know what they are on about. There's no point manuamuly changing it back in the IE options as the annoying spyware would only just change it back again.
