We are real estate investors diy-ers this is what we do. Go get yourself a garden sprayer. It holds a gallon or so of water and you pump it with the handle and just spray it on the walls, you will not get trigger hand with that and makes the job a breeze. You can fill the container almost full with water and add a half cup of white vinager, this does smell but once the walls dry you will not smell it. Get a paint scraper/ spackling knife and peel paper off in sheets, then reapply liquid to remove glue. Windex also works and does not smell as bad and in my opinion works better. You can use the same concept to remove texture from your ceiling!

We had some of the worse wallpaper on our walls when we moved in and let me tell you that we tried everything and then we came across the product called Dif you can get it almost at any store. Also one of those things that scrape up the wallpaper so it can soak thru. Try to get the top layer off if you can and then expose the underlayer of paper. It is easier that way. The dumb dumbs that lived here before us put the wallpaper on directly onto the sheetrock. Who in the heck does that? Ok so we had to have a professional come in and do those rooms since it was tearing up the walls and have them then texture the walls afterwards. UGH!! I am sure you will have better luck than us. Good luck!! Dif really works well. It peeled right off.

There is a tool called a paper tiger. It is a hand roller that puts a bunch of holes in the wallpaper so that when you spray the stuff on it it works its way in better. Try Home Depot.

Half downy liquid fabric softener and half water in a spray bottle. Spray it on let it sit for a few minutes and tear the paper off, it really is that easy.

Mix equal parts of water and vinegar and use a spray bottle to wet the paper, this makes it come off in sheets, very easy but kinda smelly. Very inexpensive, natural.......

You can go to your local Home Depot and get wall paper removal stuff: Theres a steamer, scraper...

I have heard that you can do it with a blow dryer, but I wouldn't want to try that!
