Volume of a cone formula
V = 1/3 π r² h
V = 1/3(3.141592654)(20)²(25)
V = 1/3(3.141592654)(400)(25)
V = (1256.637061(25)
V = 1/3(3.1415.92654)
V = 31415.92654 / 3
V = 10471.97551cm²

"Pie"? Are you trying to make calculations on round baked desserts? Or did you mean "pi"?
When you have a formula (in this case, the volume of a cone), it's just a matter of plugging in the variables.
(1/3)π (r^2) h =
(1/3)π (20^2) 25 =
(1/3)π (20^2) 25 =
10,000π/3 cubic centimeters
That is the exact answer. Anything else is just an approximation. Though you could of course plug in an approximation for π and multiply it by 10,000/3 to get a decimal approximation, if you wanted to.

circumference of a circle is given by 2*pi*r where pi is the constant 3.14159.... and r is the radius 106.76 cm In response to the comment above - this is pretty fundamental stuff. You are not going to get anywhere in life if you have to run for help for a problem that is as simple as being given a formula, 2*pi*r and merely only having to put three numbers into a calculator. There is no thinking involved here, figure out r, replace r with a number you are given and it's done.

This is a direct substitution :
V= (1/3)(pi)(r)^2(h)
V= (1/3)(3.14)(20)^2(25)
V= 10471.98 cm^3

pi = 3.14
r = 20 therefore r2 = 400
h = 25
Multiply them all together and divide by 3 and you will get your answer!

It's easy......
pie = 3.14 (rounded) (get a calculator and hit the pie button)
1/3(3.14)((20cm)(2))(25cm) = 3(3.14)(40cm)(25cm) all divided by 3 = 9420cm(squared) divided by 3 = 3140cm(squared)
