My mom got a phone call today from a girl asking for my dad. she said he was not home and when she asked who it was the girl hung up on her. I asked her for the number and called it. when she answered I asked what her name was and she told me than i asked why she wanted to speak to my dad and she did not give me an answer. she tryed to act confused like she dident know she just called and asked for my dad. when i asked her again she said sorry and hung up. now she wil not answer her phone. what do you guys think i sounds a bit fishy to me.

If he is cheating, you need to stay out of it. It's between your parents only.

No it does not sound fishy to me! It could be anything! Doesn't necessary be cheating. My husband years ago kept on having a girl call and it was the same situation. I thought he may be cheating and it turned out it was a girl from a jewelry place that he was having a ring made for me. I felt like a real loser! I would simple tell your dad exactly what happened. Ask him who the girl was and if it is a logical reason tell him she was rude and have him correct it.

If you think something if up, often something is up. When my best friend and I were in our teens my friend was sure her mother was cheating on her father. My friend drove, so we followed her mom and saw it for ourselves.
I think the biggest clues are changes in regular behaviour. Like if your dad is suddenly working late, taking better care with his hygene and body, taking private calls, going out more often without your mom, talking of new friends and so on.
I do think it is weird that she just called your house and did not block her number. If I was the "other woman" I would have blocked my number for sure.
In the end, your parents are adults and the choices they make are theirs. I sure hope he is not cheating, but it really is between your mom and dad for now.

use a friends phone and call her, then tell her that your mom has some raging disease that spreads quickly and that you felt that she needed to know.

Maybe she is a travel agent and she didn't want to blow the surprise.
