For billions of years it was only a planet without a name. Then man came along and after awhile he got civilised and learnt to speak English.
They then decided to name the planet, but they couldn't agree on a name, so they had a big party and they decide that the last man standing could name the planet whatever they wanted.
The party lasted for a week and eventually only one man was left on his feet, the rest were lying down stone drunk.
The man raised his glass in salute and said, "I name this planet.." then he fell down drunk.
As he lay sprawled out face down in the dirt, he stretched his arms out and hugging the ground he said, "I love you Earth."
And that is how Earth got its name.

But they were that drunk no one could remember the exact date.

Earth Day is a name used for two different observances, both held annually during spring in the northern hemisphere. These are intended to inspire awareness of and appreciation for the Earth's environment. The United Nations celebrates Earth Day each year on the vernal (March) equinox; while a global observance in many countries is held each year on April 22. but some said is March 21.

From the scientific point of view, i think it is around 4.6 billion years old, but thats just an estimate. I don't think they have an exact day or year, that would be pretty much impossible. Nobody was around then, just bacteria and protozans, and they aint talking. Hee hee.

It's not possible to be that precise. The closest estimates as to how old this planet is suggest that it's around 4.55 billion years old.

I suppose new year's day is a strong possibility for the date, as a new year symbolises a new start.
