Thanks everyone. It's interesting to see the mix of responses. I think it might have been called "The most terrifying video" to get people's attention.
I too like Al Gore's film.
Again, your views are much appreciated.

Thank you. I've passed it along to some folks with attention spans greater than gnats (unlike our pals above).

Pretty good video but shouldn’t the consensus of the scientific community somehow be factored in? Even the skeptics have to cede on that.
I understand his point on making it an equal true/false situation and concentrating on the seriousness of the outcomes but that is not realistic and, using his betting analogy, it changes the odds.

The only thing terrifying about this is , these people are convinced we can do anything about this one way or the other, we aren't going to change the course of the future, God is in control, believe it or not, these are the same people convinced Y2K was going to cause widespread pandemonium,, well guess what after billions were spent, we made a mistake. These so called experts, led by none other than Al Gore could go sit in there palaces burning up our resources and pass judgment on the rest of us can all go pound sand, I ain't buying it!

OK. No it is not the most terrifying video I have ever seen. Not anywhere even near close. I already knew everything the guy who was talking on that video was telling me.

In essence it's just common sense and good logic put into a table.
But stupid people usually need to see it drawn up and hear it explained, because they cannot think for themselves.
Like in any action / non-action debate, it's about the risks of each side.
I hope those ***** that rule the world will start doing something, because common people can only yell out and get arrested.

I think these people are perhaps the reason the world is having trouble making the changes it needs to stop this global warming.
And I thought it was a good way of looking at it, but I do prefer Al Gores film.Sorry!

It is a rather long winded version of the old Pascal's Wager. You have two options, act or not act, if you act you have 75% chance of a favorable outcome, if you do not act you have a 50% of a favorable outcome. I wouldn't call that terrifying.

Climate change...terrifying? C'mon, it's all hocus pocus.
How about American soldiers getting decapitated.
The World Trade Center coming down by terrorists.
Genocide in Africa.
Terrifying video ...climate change....not on the top of my list.
