I've sold quite a few used computers and I always do the best when I sell using the newspaper classifieds - if you sell on eBay or Craigslist you don't seem to do as well. I guess people that are already on a computer are more frugal when it comes to computer shopping.

Pawn shops, eBay...
Mostly local stores. Try looking in the Yellow Pages for "Computers".

E-bay or try a flea market, or run an add in your newspaper.
