Bush right after 9/11: "As for Bin Laden we will smoke him out of his cave. I recall seeing a poster out west saying 'wanted, Dead or Alive'.

So where is he? Hiding in a cave? Gimme a break. Bush isn't bothering with Bin Laden, he focused his attention to Iraq, and saddam Hussein. A nation that had nothing to do with 9/11, nor had Zero weapons of mass destruction and did not listen to the top weapons inspectors who said there was no evidence of WMD's.

We have top of the line high tech technology to do incredible things, but we can't find Bin Laden hiding in a cave? Apparently, war protesters voicing their opinions peacefully are more of a threat than Bin Laden.

So Yes, Osama has Bin Forgotten, or yet, ignored. Could it be the Bushites are in bed with him? Bin Laden couldn't be any more pleased.

As long as Bin Laden is free Bush can always find reasons to start new wars. If they capture him the war will be more or less over. I suppose it is more comfortable to have him around as a threat and keep people scared.

He has not been 'forgotten.' He is hiding in a cave and at this point capturing him would not really have any strategic impact.

We will capture him when we find him - but there is no reason to waste resources that can be more productively used elsewhere for something that will be nothing more than a publicity event.

Let him rot in a cave. He deserves to die as a forgotten nobody.

This is actually my biggest complaint about the Iraqi War. Even if you COULD justify it, we had unfinished business to tend to before throwing all our money and resources into Iraq. Afghanistan is still unstable. The Taliban is still floating around waiting for us to go away. Many villages still support them. And Bin Laden is still hanging out somewhere. Even if he is dead, his replacements are still in action in Afghanistan and Pakistan, waiting for the Iraqi War to bleed us dry. Had we finished business there first, then a lot less people would care about the justification of Iraq, because we'd be riding on a wave of success, instead of more failure.

That said, in answer to your question, Bush and his cronies are not in bed with him. That is ridiculous. But the reasons that drove you to consider it are valid.

Believe me, he is not forgotten.....We could easily get him but it would mean starting a war with Pakistan.
