If it's 'monkey see, monkey do', why isn't isn't there a word like 'copy-monkey'?

I mean cats don't mimic, yet there is 'copycat'!

The phrase is generally intended to make fun of the individual being talked about. By calling them a "monkey" the speaker has demeaned, in a friendly way, the person or persons who have copied the actions of another person or people. The term "copycat" is used among younger people for the most part. Monkey see-monkey do is usually used above the age of 12.
