legal websites to download movies at the moment are mainly american only. warner bros has -launched 'in2movies' that allows movie downloads. i think the files are divx/avi files so youll would need to watch using your pc or get a divx compatible dvd player. the website is in its early stages and german-only at the moment as far as i know. as for finding 'movies to burn', i dont think any websites offer dvd images which would allow you to copy dvd "video_ts" files straight to a blank dvd disc to watch on any normal dvd player. there isnt a large enough market for downloading files over 4 gig right now, and the average broadband connection is still pretty slow in comparison. downloading these files would still take many hours for most people. 'still-at-the-cinema' movies even when eventually offered legally on the internet by warner bros and everyone else will probably not be that cheap, since it could reduce the cinema going audience losing them potential sales.

its early days for the internet offering legal movie downloads, im not sure how many of these can be used over here but theres a list of legal websites on this page: http://www.mpaa.org/piracyil./
