Actually she was sent back because the sheriff lied and said the judge who sentenced her had signed - off on her early release-which he did not. I think he got fed up with this spoiled little girl trying to worm her way out of jail, and finally said, "You know what? Just for being a pain in the ***, serve the whole 45 days!" The funny thing is, if Paris had just shut up and been an adult about the situation and served the 23 days, none of this would have happened!

Yes when an average citizen breaks the law and is given probation and they violate they are sent to jail, the judge was just following through with what he said he would do. The sheriff acted without legal authority to release her the judge had said no early release and that was what he ment. She had violated her original Probation and now must pay the price just like anyone else. I work for a Misdemenor Probation office.

I am just slightly ashamed to say that the whole Paris/jail drama has given my boredom some much needed uplift.

Paris Hilton wasn't released, she was on house arrest. I think it's overkill, I have known of drug dealers who served their time on house arrest. Paris's last arrest was just for driving on a suspended license. When the jails are overcrowded it's dumb to have to make room for Paris just so people won't think she is getting preferential treatment.

She was sent back because the sheriff released her after the judge specifically said she was to serve the sentence. The judge was just doing his job something the sheriff was not!

Wow. ok. i'm no longer "outraged" in any respect- you stated, "She isn't above each and each guy or woman and merits to pay for her crime in basic terms like all different American might!" yet all of us understand that each and each American isn't dealt with the two- it is in basic terms yet another ripple in the deluge of irrefutable reality. Why can we fake that "united states of america of america" is so trustworthy? i'm petrified of yank justice. i'm outraged at American justice. yet Paris Hilton's early launch?... i'm amused. giggling as my spouse watches on. i do no longer think of she could have been locked up in any respect- no person wins in that issue. i might have sentenced her to stay with an outrageously dysfunctional drug-infested kinfolk for 30 days. this might benefit all of us. The impoverished kinfolk might stay nicely for thirty days-probably sobering up for a mutually as to delight in the money... the community might income from the freshen up she might gain this as that she could be "gentle" and he or she might benefit by utilizing being inundated in a international long previous loopy with alcohol and medicines-might scare her on the instant, wake her up and, a minimum of, shake up her mushy sensibilities. Peace and could the Hand of God be upon you.

Yes, it was sheer politics. That judge was so embarrassed by the backlash and outrage of her early release.
