I honestly feel like people who have more money are way happier.
I know that when I don't have much money, I'm all stressed out & stuff but with money I feel more relaxed and calm.
I'm not a gold digger though. I would never date a guy if he was really rich & had a horrible personality.

I do believe that statement is true, because I currently have a job I do not like that gives me a decent amount of money/earning a living decent from it...and feel I will be much happier back home where I'm from surrounded by family with two part-time jobs that will not pay as near as much as I'm getting in a strange place. On the other hand....If I won the lottery....only thing that would make me happy is using the money FOR not having a job and treating my family!...so it is a tough question...but I really feel relationships and love are true happiness and not money!

Money can buy happiness if u r smart & if u have good heart & thoughts.
Small things make me very happy - things that don't cost much, like - this afternoon's rain, like the candles, eteric oils, cups & accessories I buy myself... the money I earn is quite enough 4 those small things I do 4 myself... But I am sometimes very unhappy because I don't have more money 2 do more 4 others cos that would make me so much more happy. I am very happy 2 spend money on other people like - 2 take some of my volunteers out, or 2 organize some small event, or 2 buy some small presents 2 friends & surprize them... I don't want people 2 thank me for things like that, I am just so very very happy when I c their faces especially if I c that I guessed exactly what they liked...
I wish I had enough money to
1- open an animal shelter,
2- to adopt 10 kids & raise them well 2 b good persons, healthy & happy
3- to found a charity & work for it.

I wouldn't say it can buy happiness, however it can make it a whole lot easier to be happy about things. If you don't have the worries about financial problems them it allows to be more relaxed in life. But there are those in life who do have a lot of money who worry about things beyond there control which in turn makes them unhappy.

It would be great if we all had enough money to meet all of our needs - needs, not desires - without worry, but the truth is that money does NOT make you happy. Happiness is a state that arises from within - being satisfied with who you are, and accepting the world around you as it is whether that is a poverty-stricken hovel or a mansion.

Money only buys more clutter & debt. Happiness comes from within. It's the good feelings of your own accomplishments & self worth. Also, appreciating the blessings you've been blessed with. Always remember, someone else has it worse than you.

i feel like it isn't so much that money can buy happiness, but rather, not having to worry about money or let it be the reason you can't do what makes you happy is very liberating and eliminates a lot of stress from your life.

Yeah I'm really sure People like Bill Gates and Paris Hilton are just bawling their eyes out because they're not on welfare and living in a trailer park. I'm sure they deep down wish they could live in a squat.
Let's face it whoever wrote that saying was a world class idiot. Sometimes nobody envies you. There has to be a bottom and sometimes it's you.

True happiness, that which is of your being, grows deep inside of you and blossoms through helping others. Happy is in the head and true, money can buy you that, but it only lasts for a lttle while.

For me, money hasn't been able to buy me happiness. Each person has a different idea of happiness though. Its been my experience that the more money people have, the more problems they have.
