In order for it to be approved through the FDA all of the active chemicals need to be the same & work the same! Or they would not allow it to be an equivalent.

Yes, it is the same exact thing. Is what happens is, when a company comes out with a new drug, it gets the drug patented. This normally lasts for a few years. Once the patent is up, the contents of the drug is released to the public. This then gives other companies the chance to make it which is then the generic version. It is the same exact pill or whatever drug it is. Thats why brand new drugs have no generic brands for a few years and when their patent is up, other companies produce it

yes. all birth control is around the same. generic or not they will all protect against pregnancy and give you the proper hormones you need. this is just a way to save money for the stores and consumers

I'm sure its ok becasue it has to go through the same standards as top brands. But on the other hand thats one of those things you don't try to get a good deal on.
