On June 11, 2007, WWE aired a segment at the end of RAW that featured McMahon (in character) entering a limousine moments before it exploded. The show went off-air shortly after, and WWE.com reported the angle as though it were a legitimate occurrence, proclaiming that McMahon was "presumed dead." Although this was the fate of the fictional Vince McMahon character, no harm came to the actual person (that is, his death was part of a storyline)

In Mr. McMahon's determined hour of want for the corporate, the WWE ought to make a go back to the attitude era with a miles extra darker & edgier tone than what we are seeing at the moment, meaning on your face form of want. at first I thought it was fake, cause it happened on Mr. McMahon appreciation night, but Now, since they have the feds in, and investigation and stuff. I think its real. Check WWE.COM. It seems real

Just a storyline - the limo exploding was filmed last Sunday & joined with video tape of Vince getting into the limo to make it look like he was in it when it blew up.It's to give him some time off to concentrate on storylining for ECW.

well.. from what I saw searching it out, they're not sure.. but earlier when I flipped over to it, they were acting as they did when Eddie died.. so I'm not sure.. he may be, he may not be.. but how could someone survive that kind of explosion. as far as I know, they're still not sure.. they havent found the body yet. so, he may be.. only God and Mr. McMahon knows...
