can i put the cingular sim card into this verizon phone????will it work???? just wondering cuz i have another year with cingular and i want a verizon phone so plz tell me if it will work.

No, it will NOT work. Cingular's phones and network are GSM, which requires a sim card in order to work. Verizon's phones and network are CDMA, which doesn't use sim cards. They are two completely different technologies and are not compatible with each other.

no u cannot they use diffrent technologies. Cingular uses the world standard GSM and verizon uses cdma which does not use sim cards.

No. That GSM SIM card will not work in Verizon Wireless' CDMA phone. CDMA doesn't support SIMs, so there's no slot to put your card into.
