MM I think your info is outdated there.

There are currently 79 recognized species of cetaceans in the oceans, seas and rivers of the world. These species are divided into two main groups. The toothed whales, or Odonocetes possess teeth, and the baleen whales (11) or Mysticetes are filter feeders. Amazingly it is very likely that there are still more species of whales to be discovered. We know of at least one species of Mesplodon - Beaked whale that is known only from sightings at sea. As no specimen has ever been studied, the animal is yet to be classified and remains an unidentified species.

When you ask how many different kinds, I assume you want to know how many species there are.

Currently there are 11 species of baleen whales whales and 67 recognized species of toothed whales.

In broad clasification, there are only two types of whales - toothed (odontocete) and baleen (mysticete).

But there are numerous sub-species amongst these 2 types, which extends upto 27 known and documented sub-species of whales.
