Is there a certain amount of words a chapter has to be to be counted as a chapter?
Also, do you have to have a certain amount of chapters in a novel to be counted as a novel?

Chapters certainly don't have to be any certain length to be a chapter. For example I am reading Great Expectations right now. Some of the chapters are like 10-12 pages, but the one I am about to read is only like 2 pages. Chapters do not have a requirement. Novels do have a vague requirement. Novellas are generally 60-120ish pages while novels go from around 120 (a very short novel) and up. If you're talking juvenile literature though novels can be significantly shorter and still considered novels. As for a minimum number of chapters for a novel, there is none.

A chapter can be any length. I've seen chapters that were only one page long. A book can have as many chapters as the author wants. Books are measured in word count, as far as writing them is concerned, not by how many chapters or pages it has.

The answers are no and no.
My new YA novel GAMEPLAYER: The Genesis Portal has a prologue, 30 chapters of varying lengths and an epilogue in 315 pages.
I just started reading "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy. It has 241 pages and no chapters.
Just tell your story the way you want to.

Chapter can be any length you want. 3 pages? Sure. 30 pages? Sure.
Novels, however, must be between 80,000-100,000 words to have a good shot. Novels that are less or more than that are harder to sell.

absolutely not. you can decide exactly how the book looks and 3000 words per chapter seems quite a lot
