I have been thinking a lot lately about how exhilarating our relationship used to be. We are so into the daily grind these days. I am in love, but I can't remember the last time I felt my heart race. So, I am "getting to know" him again. I am trying to ask him more questions about life, his history before me, etc., things that get overlooked when you start talking about bills, the car, work. We are going on more dates (solo--too many people around all the time now!). All this emotional reconnecting is putting the spark back in the bedroom too ;-)

Debating a philosophical question always puts the spark back. A smart man is a big turn-on!

When the relationship still had a spark, you should have coaxed that spark into a roaring FLAME....and never let it die down to a few embers....

Toys. Worked for me and the wife. boy...what fun in a marriage that sex had almost bottomed out.
So...toys...and the ability to be able to say to one another.."Hey...take a look at this catalogue I have here online. Look at the fun stuff. What do you think?"
And her being able to say what she likes and doesn't like. Gotta have communication first and foremost or the relationship is doomed from the very start.
