when i go into public places by myself and think god em i gonna run into him or his family i avoid goen to certain places for this not to happen i go to work which is close to my house and to the store late at night even though im doen better then being with him whats wrong with me ty so much for your input jewels

Don't sweat it Julia. It'll pass. Just alittle insecurity on your part. Striking out on your own will add to your confidence and the anxiety will ebb away.
Remember...what you're feeling is the adjustment you have to make in a lifestyle that was radically different than the one you now have. Its not a bad feeling though. Time will allay those fears and before you know it you'll wave to him as you pass on the street.
Or..maybe flip him off depending upon the reason behind the divorce.

the seperation has been a huge trauma to you and you are afraid of possible confrontation with them. over time this will become less and less and you will go about your daily life as normal. take a little time out to look after yourself. seperations happen, you need time to adjust, thats all

I STILL see my ex in a crowd (although it is never him)

I have been divorced for 3 years.

I know, it sucks! Just try to relax and breathe when it happens...
