I got a few virus before, I cleaned it but since then I am getting this Windows blue screen, with that referecence memory error.

Its Windows XP, so I am not getting any command as scandisk to cure bad sector.


I tried to restore my system thru windows and it did but still blue screen appear now and then

I tried to restore laptop using Dell restore also, Mine is a dell laptop.

Though it restored but yet problem of blue screen is not solved.

I tried disk clean up, de-fragment. Thorough Diagnostic of Dell, but nothing worked.

Please tell me how to get rid of this blue screen.

Dell don't give any installation Cd for windows so I can't format and re-install windows!!!

please suggest!!!

Sorry you need to reformat your hard disk.... If you think it was a virus format it 3 to 8 times to make sure the disk is clean, i am sure you can find someone who has windows you can install.....

Have you upgraded your ram recently, or installed another stick? It might be that the new ram is not compatible. If you have 2 sticks of ram, remove one and see if that solves it. If not, then swap the sticks and try it.

Dell computers tend to have memory address issues with standard system memory sticks.

This is just an alternate solution to your problem.

Read The Friendly Manual for your PC, the steps are there to burn your own Recovery Disks.

hi, You binned the incorrect section. attempt installation a Linux distro on your previous laptop and watch the hardware faults disappear. My prevalent is Mandriva, yet there are various to % between.
