You never should have started it, he belongs to someone else...why do you want someone that isn't fully yours?

Wow...people have been pretty harsh. For some reason wives always blame the other woman, and I don't agree with that. I never ever thought I would be the other woman, but I have been. I judged people too - my parents divorced because my dad was cheating and my ex cheated on me. I thought that going through those heartaches meant that I would NEVER want to be with a married man. Boy was I wrong. You cannot help who you fall in love with. I didn't pursue the guy - I thought I would just have a crush on him and that would be it. You can't blame yourself for this, and no one, even anonymously on Yahoo answers should be calling you names for it. If anyone is to blame it is him - for stringing both of you along. I can't tell you to end the affair - do what is best for you. In my case, the guilt was bad and I wanted more than he could give. Good luck.

Your biggest concern here is what your affair has done to your reputation at work---people know. Many companies don't like employees who cause dissention and distraction in the workplace because it's too costly. Plus, it speaks volumes about your own character (i.e. honesty, integrity), which is something that employers look at when considering promotions. Yes, you should end your affair.

So tell me. Why would you end it? What do you see as a benefit to this affair and what do you see as far as the down side goes?
I think analyzing those questions may help you reach a decision.

My advice: End this relationship now. Do the honorable thing for yourself, for this man's wife and family, and yes, even for him.
Get back to a state of integrity and respect with yourself. If this man leaves his wife and wants to be with you, then you can go forward together. If he doesn't, you will be free to find someone whom you don't have to share with anyone.

YES.
He is married. Respect marriage.
Find a man that is single and not involved with someone else. Find an AVAILABLE man..
The road to happiness is not found by taking some one else's crumbs.

You should. Would you like it if your partner was having an affair? This is morally wrong.

uh, yeah. how would you feel if you were this guy's wife? seriously, just because you have low self esteem and are afraid to go for guys that aren't available - that doesn't mean it has to be the case. you probably really do have a lot to offer men, you just have to find someone who doesn't alreay have a wife.

If it's making the both of you happy, filling in gaps that are missing in your home life, you're able to keep it from interfering with your employment, then go for it.
