I got a tomtom europe but it doesnt go on. Does it need to charge?? do i need a memory card??

it needs both of those. should have come with a memory card that plugs into the bottom. FYI - the charge won't last long, be sure you have a car charger. It will run for ~2 hours on a battery charge.
