The floor of my pool is plastic but underneath the plastic is some sort of sand, and its been about 3 weeks since the pool has been filled with water, and when i go in to swim the floor is still very soft and now theres holes in the pool and at night when you turn on the lights you can see all the holes and it looks really bad..when will it harden and what can i do to take away the holes?

well i guess that was the pool makers job..what should i do?

I suppose you didn't compress the sand before putting the pool over it. There's a machine that presses the sand to MAKE IT SETTLE.

Holes as in puncture holes?

If yes, then it is because water is running out onto the sand and it will cause the sand to feel mushy.
You need to patch the holes. The liner maybe defective.

The installer should have packed the sand down.
I would call them back and tell them to come back out to fix it.
Though this will mean taking the whole pool down, if it is above ground.
