If you have time, find a book called "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. It will explain how to chart your cycles using your morning basal temperature in order to discover the time in your cycle in which you usually ovulate.

In the meantime, pay attention to your cervical fluid, aka discharge. Around the time you ovulate, your cervical fluid usually becomes thicker, wetter, and kind of like egg-white. This is the time to have intercourse. To optimize your chances, lay in bed after intercourse with your bottom propped up to keep as much semen from leaking out.

Sometime it can take awhile if you are coming off of the pill or have an irregular cycle. Also if you are unaware of how your particular cycle works, you could be having sex at all of the wrong times. You should really try charting your cycles, because it can also help you discover if there are any health issues effecting your bodies ability to conceive and sustain a pregnancy.

Good luck!!

Have sex everyother day after your period ends until your next period to make sure that you are having sex a few times during your fertile period. After sex stay laying down with a pillow under your bottom to elevate your hips for at least 5 minutes. Try a lubricant, such as pre-seed, that will help maintain the sperm's life. You can do a search of this and but it on-line. Buy ovulation predictor tests that will let you know 24-48 hours prior to ovulation and have sex 3 days in a row following the positive result. You can but these on-line for really cheap. www.early-pregnancy-tests.com selsl them and the pre-seed. Good luck.

If you have only been trying for 6 months then I wouldn't get too bent out of shape worrying yet. Only 80% of couples conceive within the first year. Just try to relax and enjoy this time in your life, don't make sex a chore trying to force yourself to make a baby. All things in good time.

Masturbation has NO consequence on conceiving. None in besides! And in case you predict your era in 2 days from now, the two you conceived 2 weeks in the past or you will could attempt returned next month.
