well i'm not sure because i dont see what other see. they say i'm smart, some say i'm good looking but when i look in the mirror i cannot help thinking, whos that fat b*****d standing in front of me. i think the people that say comments such as good looking are just playing me up and i end up not talking to them. i regret this so much because i have blocked out the one person that i like/love and i only have a week left to find the answers. such as do they like me and if so why aint they doing anything. apart from this question i want to say thankyou to Zara, who answered my question yesterday. she gave the best answer which i was looking for.

Aren't we supposed to try and be objective with regard to ourselves and subjective with regard to others as an exercise? In practice this is difficult.I think only a few people view themselves in the same way that others view them.In my own case people view me as quiet,ordinary and not sociable enough but I know my abilities and talents and consequently have have a more positive self regard and a confidence that I can make my dreams come true.If I viewed myself as I'm viewed by others I would be more depressed and not content which is the way I feel now.

I really have no idea, except that I assume most others get the wrong impression of me because I'm a very quiet and private person. I don't talk much, which sometimes gets mistaken for me being rude. I've always been that way.

Definitely not...there are days when people tell me I'm beautiful and I just don't see it and I think sometimes people think of me as this strong person who can do anything she wants, who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to go after it...but the truth is I'm scared as hell but they just don't see it.

that's both altruistic and proper to placed the needs of others before your own, yet no longer the exclusion of having your own needs met. have you ever heard of the word, you could't love others in case you do not love your self? nicely, that's authentic. you may want to love, honor and respect your self before you could totally enlarge those similar verbs to others.

Never. People on here... I highly doubt you still know who I am. And people around me see me differently... slacker, awesome, funny, *****. And I barely see myself at all.

i think im have a lower opinion of my self i over compensate in certain aspects of my life beacause of this . like being too nice to people as i dont like people being mean to me .
