Offense: Adrian Peterson. He's got 4.4 speed, and if he stays healthy, He'll be the #1 RB in Minnesota after Week 6.

Defense: Paul Poluszny. Jack Lambert says he's the best LB coming out of Penn State.

Dear everyone,

The NFL picks 2 Rookies of the Year each year.

Offensive
and Defensive

I'm going Calvin Johnson - I realize he plays in Detroit, but that also means he'll be playing from behind most of the time
which equals passing

and on the D-side of things - Paul Posluszny....he'll step in and wash away that 'poor mans' AJ Hawk' label that I've heard put on him
(this is a homer pick....but in the 59872984 other posts that ask this question, you'll find about 4 defenders listed (usually Willis, Landry, etc, so I thought I'd go out on a limb)

I would have to say Calvin Johnson. I say Calvin because the Lions have like no talent at all. Granted Jon Kitna threw for almost 300 yards a game but just couldn't score any touchdowns..I think Calvin will get alot of touchdowns because of his size... He is 6'5 and 240 pounds...he has the perfect size for a quarterback to throw a jump ball to in the back of the end zone also he's got a big body. Which he does a very good job of sheilding the corners with when he goes to catch the ball. Also this dude can flat out haul... he ran a 4.4 fourty yard dash in the scouting combine. Thats amazingly fast for a 6'5 240 pound man...

Well you can rule out johnson because he is in detroit

Quinn and russell won't make that much of an impact as rookies.

peterson is a good pick, but I am going against everybodies predictions and I will say GREG OLSEN for the bears will win it. He is in the position to be the top reciever for the bears next year and he will be very good.

I think it's gonna be Calvin Johnson. The Lions could make him the best. I'm not sure about the other ones, but JeMarcus Russell will not be the one. The Raiders have no good receivers except Jerry Porter, since Moss left the team.

It will be Jamarcus Russell. He is in a situation where he needs to start and outperform all other QB's. He needs to pick up the Raiders, put them on his shoulders and run with them.
But also keep you eye on Marshawn Lynch - The Bills will be putting pressure on him to perform well also.

Calvin Johnson of course. He as the speed to break through the defenders, also the height for those lob passes, quick on his feet, he also strong, and he'll probably have the most receptions and yards for a WR cause you know that the only good reciver they got is Roy Williams, and now they got Calvin Johnson.

Calvin Johnson all the way, its beacause the papers talked about HIM and not Jamarcus Russel, He could have easily been 1st if the raiders already had a good quaterback...

Hope this helps,

Hunter

i'm gonna go out on a limb and say dwayne jarrett. he will probably be carolina's #2 receiver from the start. since steve smith is the main focus of the defense, dwayne will probably be open a lot. i believe he averaged a touchdown every 5 catches at USC too right? defensive rookie i'm not too sure about, but i'm thinking pat willis or even justin harrell

I think Jamarcus Russel is going 2 get it because the raiders need a strong QB and with the tactics of Jerry Porter as the #1 reciever theres no telling wat these guys are capable of
