We can't get rid of them.
I don't care what colour you are or where you come from, but don't use it as an excuse to get what you want, so yes, immigrants DO use it as an excuse. They have got onto our council housing lists and we've been f*cked off because we're British - well I'm sorry but whatever happened to looking after your own? That's not being racist at all, thats called pecking order in a country you have absolutely no f*cking entitlement to.

As a result we the UK are now the laughing stock of Europe because of our lack of immigration controls. As a result our jobs have been devalued and we're having to fight a losing battle.

Definitely there is a lot of it. They learn very fast that they can do this.

The ones that actually are causing a real problem are those that were born in the USA from parents and grand parents that were born in America as well. It is getting time to let the past be in the past and make a better future for us all.

I travel a lot and I live a long way from the USA. Discrimination and racism is alive and well all over the world. Fact is that the USA is less racist than most places. Europe definitely is more so. Africa is sure not a place where all get along. Parts of Asia are definitely dangerous for a white face. I live with racist remarks every day. I do not react at all. I understand and if I can't handle it the I have to leave.

Because the USA is the most powerful nation in more ways than one. Everything that happens in the USA is talked about all over the planet. Go to Any nation and when the news comes on it is news abut the USA that heads the news time. Very few of you even know where this nation is and definitely know nearly nothing about the area. Everyone here does talk about America and they do have feelings about America good and bad. Mostly bad but for some reason if you ask them where they would like to go they most always say the USA America.

People are strange all places.

Yes the UK has a major immigrant problem and our government have decided to crack down on illegal immigrants! However as many countries such as Poland are now apart of the EU this means they can freely come to the UK or indeed any other country in the EU legally with no hassle. In terms of racism its not an obvious issue here either only highlighted cases pop up now and again. I would have to say here they don't seem to use it as excuses! After the London bombings its clear that the police are stopping and searching the homes of and individuals who stereotypically fit the terrorist look however they seem to accept it as security comes first!

The United States has so many laws in place that protect citizens and people from being discriminated against that it is becoming an old excuse. Many minorities use this a s a way to get what they want. They feel that if they even bring up the charge of racism that the people who disagree with them will change positions to suit them.

Too true. Racism is being used by many as a safety blanket against ANY type of criticism. If you criticise an immigrant's hairstyle, guess what? You're a bonafide racist.
Not happy with an immigrant's behaviour? Don't you dare criticise, because you're only having a go at him because he's non-white aren't you?!
Yes, the UK has a MAJOR problem with immigration. Not so much illegal immigrant's but legal one's. We are running out of space!!!

My granddaughter got beaten up by an Asian boy (she's 10 and he's 14) and he smashed her glasses. When his mum complained to the boy's parents they said that she had racially abused him - no way is she racist, she has lots of friends of all ethnic origin and is her house captain at school because of how she defends others. Her parents called the police and the police would not act.

Similarly, a friend of mine was on a bus with a very small child and the Asian driver was driving like a lunatic without a care for passengers who had not got to their seats yet. They argued and things got out of hand and when the police were called, the driver said that my friend had called him a black b*stard. This went to court, when my friend introduced the judge to his wife and father-in-law - they were black!!!! He was acquitted.

Yes - the race card is often called unfairly. Unfortunately the people who try to manipulate the law like this only damage the people that the law is meant to protect. It's the old tale about crying wolf.

The UK has massive problems with illegal immigrants. I think a lot of the time people are racist to them and forget that they came here, probably desperate for a better safer life. (Doesn't always happen though). The brits and the americans have got it easy compared to some countries.

There is an illogical political argument that goes like this:
1) You want the trains to run on time
2) Hitler wanted the trains to run on time
3) You agree with Hitler
4) Hitler was a mass murderer
5) You are a mass murderer.

The same technique has been used for years by just about every political persuasion. If you don't agree with me and you have a different race, you are racist; you have a different sex, you are sexist.

Inferior people often use race as an excuse. As we learned in the O.J. Simpson trial--when the truth fails, play the race card: I'm lazy so I got fired---RACISM; I didn't study for that test so I failed---RACISM; I was speeding so the cops pulled me over---RACISM. Using racism as the cause of one's own failures and inadequacies has become the norm.
