I am from NO and the only thing that changed is what the people are doing. What is the City doing with all the money.Lil Wayne also donated money to this cause. And others donated money .Where is it being put into action.

Probably to the same place the BILLIONS of dollars given out in the decades leading up to Katrina. Local and State Law Makers, and local interest groups pockets.
It's one of the biggest scams in world history. Maintain a socially dependent population, and bilk the hearts of those with money. Give a few crumbs to the so called needy to keep them quiet, yet still wanting for more, and keep the bread for yourself.
Katrina was just a freight train of money to the bank.

It probably all went to Africa via William Jefferson.
The whole thing has been mis managed from the top to the bottom. From the weak leadership in disaster relief to the leeches looting and killing instead of helping to rebuild. The only people, now, that can help New Orleans are the people of New Orleans.

When you donate money only a small fraction actually goes to help.That's why I don't trust the Feed The Children type foundations. People donate millions and the only thing they are giving the kids to eat are mushy oatmeal once a day.

its being used on sub comittees to decide on how it will be spent then it goes through a spin cycle and all u r left with is .0001% of what was donated its the beaurocracy machine, i suggest u reaserch it and gather evidence u could file a class action suit and get paid BIG $$$$

Those donations require of the donor...blind faith. I, for one am unfaithful.
The Red Cross is good enough. I have some 'faith' left for that organization; faith that all the blood and more of the money go where intended.
