Does matter actually get DESTROYED in one metaverse to be CREATED in another??

Depends on the definiton of I in your statement. If you comprise of matter and if indeed you moved into another universe or metaverse as you put it, it follows logically that something had to be destroyed in the present universe and created there. Or it is just possible that a pattern of particles held together by a conscious entity called you releases the pattern here and the particles disappear into the space. The same pattern can be created there from the particles there. Matter need not be transfered in such a case and only the pattern is transfered.

This is a science forum, not "science fiction".

We have no possible way of knowing if a "metaverse" exists or how to get to it or it's physical properties.
