This is part of the WWE plot. If a real, legitimate tragedy occured and a car actually blew up and killed someone, WWE.com would not have a picture of the car up in flames, with "McMahon presumed dead, click here for more." It would instead say "In memory of Vince McMahon. RIP Vince, we'll miss you." and there would be a tribute to him (no not a stupid McMahon appreciation night, but a real, actual tribute). When Owen Hart fell to a tragic death at Over the Edge, the next night on Raw was one big tribute to him.
Also, this would get coverage from real news shows and websites outside the wrestling world. You would be hearing about it everywhere, not just on wrestling sites.

Earlier today, WWE.com reached out to representatives of the McMahon family. These representatives stated that the grief-stricken family of the Chairman had no comments to offer at this time, but told reporters that something may be forthcoming in the near future.
I bet he'll be back at summerslam or like in 2 weeks or something. Also they said they did not find any of his remains or dna (yes that's all made up also).

If you watch the explosion in slow motion, you can clearly see the limo door open up just before the explosion went off meaning that he got out. Of cource he's not dead, he'll be back. But if they do say he's dead, I agree with the person who said HHH did it.
