You can use it for whatever you want...One of my clients has several ongoing "projects". Some months, they use their newsletter simply to report the status of those "projects". At year's end, they publish full project descriptions to lure new members to the organization. Sometimes they publish "mininewsletters" to encourage participation in special events and to announce important upcoming events. All this is "news"...a "news"letter

(We maintain a membership roster in Outlook as Contacts, and print mailing labels via Mail Merge to a Word document...)
