I'm so torn between the two.. here are the links of those graphic cards..

anybody want to help me choose between them? or recommend any other graphics card for about $150 USA or less?

The 7900 is going to get better fps in almost every game. The 8600 has dx10 technology but few games use it and you will not see much of a performance gain when you do play those games.

Um, it's like being torn between a Corvette and a Toyota Camry. The 7900GS isn't even as nice as a 7900GT.

The 8600GT in a heartbeat!! I can't believe that price for a DirectX10 card!! :)

quite simply, go with the 8600 as it will give you direct x 10 support. The 7900 gs cannot.

the style does not be counted as its in straightforward terms a sticky label on a similar time as the OEM (unique equipment producer) is a similar that's nVidia. That mentioned, 8800 is obviously extra valuable than 8600.

How about Radeon x1950 pro. Try newegg. lowest priced one there is $145.99 and a $20 rebate= $125.99
Plus x1950 pro beats a 7900gs in most games.
