No different. I make my own bullets. Shooting is not just the only way of killing.

When are people going to realize that shootings will stop when we stop glamorizing violence, enact stricter gun laws and enforce them. We can take all of the guns and ammo off the streets and the same people will find a way to get a gun and shoot you. Drugs and numerous other things are illegal and expensive, but you can get them anywhere. If there is a demand for something (illegal, expensive or not) someone will supply it.....

A perfect example is a federal prison I worked at for a while (which will remain unnamed) stopped allowing prisoners to smoke. Crime related to cigarettes went up over 1000%, yes over one thousand percent. And the price of black market smokes started at $600 a carton and up. Where do inmates get that kind of cash and cigarettes in a maximum security prison? The same thing will happen on the outside only at a much higher level.

Yes, Chris Rock said this in a funny way, but it is true to some extent.

However, making bullets isn't all that hard, so though it would be more inconvenient, you could still shoot people.

I agree, there is always an underground market for items that are either expensive or illegal or both. I don't think it would change a thing. The only folks it would directly affect are the people who use ammunition legally (i.e. hunters, marksmen)

I think more people would just learn to make their own, but you'd have people (hunters and the like) that wouldn't be happy with it at all, not to mention the companies who manufacture bullets would never want to shrink their profits like that.

No. What rock have you been living under lately?

People would just steal them or this would open up the arms markets to include more ammunition. The people responsible for shootings dont have moral standards that would preclude them from illegaly aquiring ammunition.

No those that would want to shoot would still either purchase them or they would find a way to steal them or black market them...
so NO I think of someone is wanting to shoot at another person they will...
which is sick..

No, that would just lead to a very lucrative black market dealing in bullets. They are not that hard to make if you have the right equipment.

Didn't Chris Rock already address this in a stand up special?

I think we'd have more fatal shootings, because people would be less willing to waste them.
