You mean human beings?
The Earth is a planet it is not alive.
Ok assuming you mean humans well, maybe one day we can all get along (in a very long long time IF we haven't destroyed one another, assuming we are still populating this planet) and live under one government (though i think there will always be isolationalists).
I still think there will be different races. Some like now will be mixed race while some may decide they still like their own race.
Whatever, i wouldn't care just as long as we all got along.

I thought we already were one race, are we not all humans, can we not interbreed?
The idea of “race” is caused by geographic isolation, smaller gene pools resulting similar traits, what you call a different “races” is actually proof of evolution, you can have or make babies with any other “race” and still have a human child.
Race was invented to separate one group from another based on physical appearances it has nothing to do with our actual species, but has everything to do with keeping us from reaching our potential
Quit looking at the differences and start looking at the similarities, my guess is that you will find far more similarities than differences.

I love answering questions like this one. Our planet will become one race when we decide to grow out of our infancy. It is only a matter of our will and let me give an example. I do not know you and you do not know me. But click on my profile and you get my e-mail and IM address. Send me an IM and I greet you as a man of peace. Should you respond in kind and greet me as a man of peace as well, then we are two. Join together with two more of peace, and we are four and so it goes. Multiple that by three billion people and the Earth has become one race. The only reason we fight one another over petty differences is a matter of will. And so is the desire to become one race a matter of will. It starts with you and it starts with me.

Not until we discover intelligent life on other planets. Until then we are split on national pride, or ethnic pride, or religious pride, which is the worst. Once we encounter another intelligent species outside of our solar system we will develop terran pride, which will lead to a blending of nations and races. An encounter with extra terrestrial life will also destroy the basis of all the major religions, which will lead to religious downfall and all the seperation that comes with it.
ET, where are you?

It has not happened over the thousands and thousands of years humans have been on this planet. Why would we think it will happen in the future?
