Does anyone have a sure fire solution to keeping these plastic containers organized?

I keep mine in a plastic basket, big enough to fit on the shelf.

LOL, I hate that problem.
What I did, is gather all bowls and lids, put them in the middle of the floor and had my children sort through them all. Matching lids to bowls.
Then when there were missing ones, I threw them out.
Then I got a larger bowl for storing the lids and marked each lid and bowl with their own number and stack the bowls together and all I have to do is just look in the large bowl for it's matching lid.
Pretty simple and it works.

I sorted mine, threw out everything that didn't match and kept the others. Eventually, I ended up throwing out ALL of them and buying about 3 packs (15) of those disposable ones in the same size. Having one size makes it alot easier, and if they get lost...it wasn't a big $$ loss. I use alot of ziplock bags now too. Those are MUCH easier to store and stuff freezes flat in those!
