My little Emmit Smith, we named her Emma, but for some reason started calling her Emmit Smith. She's a big fat 20 lb cat. She thinks she's a dog. She fetches, she shakes, she begs. She also likes to lick toes and noses, sometimes she licks so much i think she likes the tastes and then she gives you a little nibble. She's always got to be touching you too, she'll sit next to u, but have to put at least one paw on yer lap. She drives me nuts, cuz she's a bit of a nag...but I love her.

I got my cat Shadow when I was two or three. Believe it or not I do remember the day she came walking out from the forest. She was stick skinny. You could count her ribs. My mom said if she keeps coming back we can keep her. She came back day after day. So we took her in. We named her shadow because she was coal black like a shadow and would follow us like a shadow. We had her till I was twelve. She died two years ago it was really hard. What made her special to me was she always seemed to know our emotions and would make us laugh with all the crazy things she did. Like trying to squeeze her twenty pound body into a little shoebox. or ripping up a thing of catnip and looking innocently at us when she was in trouble. Whenever you were yelling she would give you a warning meow to stop. Or if you were crying she would nuzzle up next to you and purr. I loved her so much.R.I.P Shadow!

My dog Alfie! My wife died suddenly of a massive heart attack. I have no family left except my dear Alfie who kept me going when I really had lost all interest in life. He died at a ripe old age, I miss him and will always be grateful to him for being a caring companion. Not a day goes by, that I don't say a small prayer for him and ask the Lord to take care of him. In his honor, I took his name as my nickname.

My favorite was my ferret Reeses. She was such a cutie pie. Had her for 7 1/2 years and had to have her put down in January. I miss her. She was such a sweetie.

I had a small white kitten. His mother had accidentally sat on his hind legs when he was born and for the first few months of his life he couldn't walk properly. I used to love him so much. I had him for many years and I was inconsolable when he died. Feel sad now that I remembered him.
