Despite our politicians, America is still a great country. People are still risking their lives to get here.

America is just like anyother place. People do the same as in Italy. They go to school, work, and relax if there is time. We have local stores, malls, nearby school that are walking distance. Most people own cars and drive. SOme own homes and have to pay mortgages so high. People are consumers of all. The buy and buy even when they don't have $. They put in on credit. Its not better than Italy. Life is fast and everything can be fats. People eat fast food most of the time so mainly all are obese or overweight. : (
There is no family values. People don't sit and eat with their families unless its a holiday of all got their day off at school and work. Life can be hard.
There are inustices in which people with similar values are beaten for rallying about immigration. There are people who are underpaid and treated wrong and the laws act like that is not happenning. It can be a sad place to live too.

Well arianna, happy for U, till U see the drawbacks in USA life.
Why dont U try to come to India where your country woman Antonia Maino (alias Sonia Gandhi) rules the roost without any knowledge, brains, looks, integrity or loyalty.
Enjoy like Quattrochhi & never get caught
as long as Sonia lasts.

America is like six different countries. The East, The Great Lakes, The Midwest, The South, Florida and California. Each has it's own culture, lifestyle and accent. One of them is bound to float your boat.

america is a pretty nice place to live, but the government can be quite annoying sometimes. the fact that america happens to be the "ideal" country (at least, thats what some of my friends seem to think, although they are pretty ignorant of some things) kind of bothers me. I really would love to move to italy (or some other awesome european country) instead... but its your choice. :) have fun with whatever you decide to do!

America is great but our political views by most liberals suck. Our president is a a reflection of what we flush in our American toilets
