I downloaded some old radio episode files to a folder in My Documents. But when I tried to transfer them to Windows Media Player to burn them to a blank CD, WMP said it cannot handle this kind of file [Real Player].
I can't use Real Player to burn the episodes to a blank CD, because to create an MP3 disk with Real Player I would have to have the paid-for version of Real Player, and I only have the free version.
So how can I convert these Real Player old radio episodes to Windows Media Player? Or is it possible to download the old radio programmes from the Internet again but save them into Windows Media Player?
I have not explained this very clearly, but anyone who knows what I need to do will understand my question. The rest won't!

Windows Media Player can not do Real Player files (.ra, .rm, .ram). Their format is copyrighted by Real One, and Microsoft can not legally play them.

Go to http://download.com and search for "real to mp3" and you will probably find a free file convertor that will turn the Real Player files into mp3 (or wav or another format you can work with).

There are a few free burners to convert/burn from MP3 to CD format, which should play on stereos that support cd-r/and maybe cd-rw.
