Trust ur heart the most, u end up being happier that way. The trick is though, to trust ur heart and try to follow in a logical way by listening to ur mind.

Definitely your mind. It allows you to examine things objectively. It doesn't matter how delicious a piece of fruit looks, or how hungry I am- if I KNOW it's poisonous, I don't want to eat it.

By the same token, perhaps a friend is asking me to loan them $500 for a week, and they're promising to repay it on time- it doesn't matter how much I'd like to help them- if I KNOW (from previous experience or other people) that they've had drug abuse problems and have already ripped off other people, what I know takes precedence over what I feel.

Now when the facts weigh equally on both sides or you dont have enough information to make a clear, objective choice- follow your heart.

Both. You can not always choose one & ignore the other. You must find a delicate balance between the two. If you let your heart lead all the time, you will not be practical or responsible in your life. If you let your mind lead all the time you will miss out on passion & spontaneity. Somewhere between the realist & the dreamer, between the pragmatist & the poet, between chaos & control lies a full & meaningful life well-lived.

I have been deceived by both.
the mind is limited by the information it has,and the heart can interpret and justify information according to its desires.
I do believe that instead of looking at a person as a 2 part entity we should instead consider him as 3 parts.Plato said that man was,
thinking man -reason
spiritual man-moral
physical man-appetite(emotion)
that man could by using the power of reasoning WITH the power of morality (sense of right and wrong )or conscience, could bring the physical man (appetites and desires) under control and thus make right decisions.
I think it is a mistake to limit man into a 2 part entity thinking/feeling because we then limit his ability to over come the limitations posed by both.
spiritual man (not to be confused by moral codes imposed upon us ) has a sense of right and wrong and a sense of justice.and is able to balance the thinking man /feeling man which are continually at war with each other.

Since technically they are both the same organ you should listen to both of them to a point. If they are conflicted you are conflicted. you can always do a pro and con list. But in the end you will do what you want to anyway. just remember you have to live with the consequences. you do what they are telling you is the right thing to do

I'm gonna go with Brain. That's because, technically, the heart is just an organ that pumps blood. However, when people talk like that, they're just referring to the more sensetive side of you. It really all depends on the situation though. I tend to follow my "heart", only because that decision usually feels right. Yup.

Trust your mind if there is solid tangible evidence. But if there is no evidence, or you are doubtful of the source(s) of evidence (like when you feel the evidence has been planted or manipulated), then trust your heart.
