Did Tony die? Did "we" die in some sense? And if we were the ones to "get whacked", what is the signifigance of that? I just would really like someone else's opinions on why it ended the way it did. Thanks.

In my opinion it means that this is the life they have chosen and they will continue to live the way they always have despite friends being killed and trials in the horizon.

In the diner their were ghosts from Tony's past...
1.Phil's nephew at the bar.
2. Boy scouts from the train store where Bobby was shot.
3. Carjackers that shot Tony's ear.
4. The brother of the trucker who was killed in the DVD robbery.
6 degrees of separation if you will, or the fact that Tony's past will always haunt him. The point is you decide. Maybe there will be a movie, is that so bad?
I thought it was great!

In the first episode of this season, Bobby and Tony were talking. Tony asked, " What is it like to die ? " and Bobby says' , "I think it just goes dark. "

Also, they flashed back to that too in this episode or last. But the answer to your question is, Tony infact did die because when meadow walked in, thats when he got shot. I assume he wouldnt hear the bullet go in. There is no movie...just use your heads a bit. Everything fits into place =)

Tony died. if you remember a flash back of him and Bobby talking about "what would it be like to get shot in the head" ... they both agreed "you would just ..... go blank"

Because they are thinking about making a movie in 2008 so they did not want to get rid of the 'popular' people.

Because he wants us to come up with our own ending. He wants us to use our own imagination.
