I have a stupid, stupid fear of squid and octopi, giant squid especially. does anyone know what that phobia is called? I can find the term for the fear of the color purple, but not for cepholopods.

There is no exact word for it but you can say
cephalopod phobia
or if you want to make up a word then:
cephalophobia

I've seen that the fear of squids is called OCTOPHOBIA... but im not really sure because at other locations octophobia is termed as the fear or the number 8. But octophobia sounds about right.... hope that helps
