I go to Catholic school. Everytime we have something there (even on the weekends) like club meetings, tutoring, and other things, the school makes us come in our uniform. I'm involved in a lot of things (and my friends are not), so it's common for me to be in my school uniform 6, even all 7 days in a week. And I'll admit, I'm lazy. I don't like to change if I have to. I don't mind changing into my uniform, but as for changing out, I always feel lazy about it. But my friends love going out to places (the mall, movies, etc) on the weekends, and sometimes after school. But they always go home and change. As for me, I do not change, usually because I have something to do, or do not want to. So now I ask you, is it okay to wear your school uniform like I do? To the movies, mall, out to eat, friends' houses, the park, and other places, even on the weekends, simply because I do not want to change?

Absolutely, I used to do it all the time myself. I did it because they were comfortable

yes what's the problem?? I also go to catholic school and have to use the damn uniform all the time and for all the events and although I do change when I come back from school I don't see why would it be "weird" if you don't
The only bad thing that could happen would be something like the guy above said, that you go to bars and/OR fight with people while wearing your uniform, now that can get you into trouble

I don't know why not. You may get a few odd looks from people just because it's a bit different, but so what. I doubt a Catholic school would have anything even remotely resembling inappropriate clothing for a uniform, so if you don't mind standing out a bit, who cares. It's your life, and there's nothing inappropriate about the clothes, so wear what you like.

I do not see the problem. I believe the stigma comes from wanting to get out of the uniform you are forced to wear. If it is comfortable, wear it. It looks nice, so no one is looking at you because you dress disrespectfully.

I always wore mine out everywhere I went and felt fine. I feel your pain. You are one of the few that doesn't see the uniform to be part of the whole Catholic Control issue.

If you feel comfortable wearing it then go for! I personally would not because I have to wear a uniform enough so I like to dress up in normal clothes when I don't have to wear a uniform.

I used to wear my uniform places after school if it was spur of the moment and I didn't know I was going out after school. If I knew I was going somewhere then I would change but its up to you. Do you really care what other people think?

i like the uniforms, it has shown dramatic variations in our scholars self belief and grades. There are arguments that infants could convey themselves and uniforms do no longer enable that, yet college is their pastime, and what they could convey in school is they seem to be a student. And in case you do no longer prefer them to particular that, in line with danger you extremely do no longer care approximately their academic achievements. Uniforms are gruesome, they make a 13 twelve months previous appear as if their 12 rather of 17 (like the clothing they like), and uniforms are like a persevering with reminder which you are the place you artwork because of fact they might in no way the place them while they are no longer working. and that's exactly what makes them so great. As adults, i think of maximum human beings forget how puzzling it extremely is to be 12 years previous. the day earlier as we communicate, my uniformed scholars have been given to placed on loopy hair/hat day with their uniforms... and that all of them did great loopy issues. They have been so excited at first of the day with the thrill and alter that by utilizing the top of the day they have been virtually crying because of fact they have been so drained. the thrill of the day grew to become into in basic terms too lots... and that's in basic terms from donning a fuzzy hat and doing math artwork. The greater we are able to concentration scholars on getting to grasp, the greater they are going to be waiting to study.

I think that you should change because other wise people may start to categorize you as GEEK or NERD... sorry to have to bring it to you but, changing your clothes after school will really make you look like your not still in school to the people you are around. Plus, if your friends aren't wearing the uniform and you are when you go places, you might embarrass them and they may start to leave you out of activities.

Your uniform represents your school. For as long as you don't do anything that will harm your school's name(like going to bars and all that), then you can.:)

Absolutely. Besides - it's environmentally responsible as you're not dirtying more clothes just for vanity's sake.
