I remember when Days of Our Lives went home with most of the awards. The past several years I've seen them get fewer and fewer awards!. This makes me sad. This is a good show! I have watched it for 30 years.(Before the days of V.C.R. I got my Mom hooked so she could fill me in when I was working.) Does any one else agree with me that this just isn't fair! Enough is enough! I want to see Days back on top again!

no offence as I am a long time on and off again Day viewer but i think Days( and Passions ) just aren't taken that seriously in the daytime industry. Days has had too many weird sl's over the last 5+ yrs and although most of Days actors are good they seemed to have been Encouraged to go over the top and even be 'campy' by the writers/directors.
The other soaps that get the most noms tend to be more 'traditional' or do more serious/issue sl's.
Personally i had had enough of the whole dimarra/brady feud- Just My Opinion

before each and every thing, Ellen did not even win very last evening. i'm no longer confident what awards educate YOU were observing. anyhow, she must have gained. and by no ability because she is a lesbian yet because she IS an outstanding, pleasing talk educate host. when you're entitled on your beliefs, you want to get your thoughts immediately. also, Guiding ordinary isn't being canceled because it had a lesbian scene. You truly do no longer comprehend about some thing you're speaking about; get your data immediately. GL has had negative rankings even before Otalia, so as that they don't look even a aspect in its cancellation. gay actors were round for a lengthy time period, and they do no longer win each and every award. in the journey that they do win, it isn't because they are gay! before each and every thing, Van Hansis (Luke, ATWT), who portrays a gay personality, did not win very last evening. If each and every thing went to homosexuals, as you declare, he might want to have gained. regrettably, he deserved to win. Christian LeBlanc deserved to win, palms down, and that i might want to care a lot less what gender he's attracted to. reliable for him. you're basically an insecure little lady, and also you want to do not overlook that all and multiple is different obtainable. the fireplace in California...they do no longer minimize into stay AWARDS shows except that's dire. and before each and every thing, it replaced into on the CW, which isn't a serious information broadcasting community. Geez. Why the hell is each and every thing you're saying targeted on Ellen? What about the different actors and actresses? do you want immediately celebrities to pay in any respect? And, Ellen donates a ton of time and funds to charity each and every twelve months. She is an outstanding individual. And, your reasoning about human beings dropping jobs? Hell no. those those who paintings for classified ads, her shows, and inspite of are gaining jobs if some thing. And that's one educate...that doesn't right away impression our economic equipment. perchance you should take an economics type or some thing. you're basically an fairly shallow individual.

I guess writers run out of ideas. And characters move on. Maybe it's just a cyclical thing. I remember when Y & R won everything - then GH - and AMC. It'll be DOOL time again. Writers....take note!
