I do! for all sorts of reasons e.g. he's funny, he's articulate, he's intelligent, he always seems to know what I'm thinking and he makes me feel good about me being myself.
On the other hand I do love my cats more than my other half too!

From what i can tell you guys have trust issues and its not going to make things easier for you or him in your future. It's better if you guys sit down and talk it out. if there is no trust in your relationship then there is no point trying to have a future together because you'll both end up hurting in the end. i say talk to him really try to show your point to him tell him its just a friendship and that you love him more than anyone and you wouldn't cheat on him. But if you truly love this guy and talking doesn't do anything. your gonna have to sacrifice your friendships to make him feel at ease. Its a hard decision. but you'll come up with something. wish you guys the best.

I think you are confusing love with "like to be with more".
Don't over-think this, just because you have more fun with your gay friend and your cats doesn't mean anything major.
If you lived with your gay friend and not with your partner then you'd probably "love" your partner more.
I am assuming you live with your partner.
You don't love your partner less or your gay friend more. You like to be around your gay friend more because there aren't the regular stress factors that go hand in hand with relationships tied to that gay friend. Get it? The gay friend is string free.

The love you have for your partner should be a different kind of love! You should be in love with him! Want to spend the rest of your life with him! Have his babies!
The love for your friend should be like a love for any friend or sometimes you can love them as much as your bro or sis!
There shouldnt be any sexual tension! Think it through! Hopefully you will understand what Im saying and come to a conclusion on what you should do!¬

Well maybe it's because you have a better connection with your friend then your partner it's okay I love my friend way more then anybody only because I knew them longer and I can tell them anything without really feeling guilty.
